So, I decided last night that I would deactivate my facebook. Not in order to create some sort of statement or anything, but to really concentrate on the more important things in life. I can’t tell you how many times facebook has distracted me from the real world. Whether it be homework, or just sitting around on my laptop; where I really need to be is out there talking to real people in PERSON.

Besides the draw away aspects of facebook, I really believe that an online ‘profile’ is not a real way to depict someone. All of my friends say, “but what about the pictures?”, well that’s fine and all but the idea of someone being able to look through my information without my knowledge is a bit creepy. Again, this is not the reason for the deactivation. Hopefully this will be a positive change that will bring me happier and more productive life. Who knows?
