Is it just that Ben & Jerry’s (Unilever) “social” ad campaign on Facebook is on such heavy rotation that is just happens to appear here? My business partner Darren Rosenwinkel posted about the pitiful “news” that being overweight is the new “average” in America (which means you’ve already met your New Year’s resolution according to Jay Leno).
I know, I know. The only reason I’m even seeing this “ad” is because I clicked “Like” on Ben & Jerry’s. So, I guess I only have myself to blame for seeing Unilvever’s crack team of advertising gurus reminding me that some of my other Facebook friends like Ben & Jerry’s every other time I reload my News Feed.
Their strategy with all of this is really pretty simple:
A certain percentage of Facebook users will eventually get tired enough of reloading their Timeline and News Feed to waddle over to the freezer open a pint of Cherry Garcia, Red Velvet Cake, Crème Brulée or some other fantastically wonderful creation.
Not me! As great as it tastes, I haven’t had any Ben & Jerry’s ice cream since I got started on The Better Body System from Yoli a few short months ago. It’s not that I don’t like ice cream—it’s just that unhealthy cravings for things that don’t nourish my body are almost nonexistent for me. This is a new thing for me. In fact, for most of my life, all I can remember is craving things like ice cream, breads and cakes, and other “empty calorie” items that weren’t ever the food I needed.
Why? The Yoli Better Body System tastes great, satisfies my hunger, and it’s giving my body proper nutrition. I don’t feel hungry between meals and I have a lot more energy now, since my body is physically lighter than it’s been in a great many years. I’m also no longer running and crashing on “comfort food” all the time.
I still eat the foods I love, I just don’t overdo the ones that aren’t good for me now. As a result, I’ve lost weight, I’m actually saving money, and I feel great. I’m also making money by telling others about the success I’m having with Yoli.
Who do you know that wants to lose 7-15lbs in 7 days?
How would you like to drive a new BMW, Mercedes Benz or Cadillac and have Yoli make the payment for you each and every month?
